Chevrolet 2006 HHR Water For Fuel - HHO Gas Part 2 I am a perfectionist in doing things right the first time. In addition I will be checking with the Chevrolet dealership electrical department to make sure that the alternator is putting out enough energy to run my electric inverter taking the power from DC to AC to run the welding device. If we cannot run the inverter to the welding machine that we will have to bypass the AC power supply on the welding machine and go into the DC portion of the machine to perform the same functions as if it was plugged into the AC. Before we do that we would try this simple way first using our inverter to simplify the installation.
