How to build an HHO fuel cell Part 1 of 2
This is a short video on how to build a simple HHO fuel cell. For those interested in getting started, this is probably enough to get you going on your own experiments.

that's not a fuel cell.
that's a hydrogen generator

sorry if that was taken as an insult it was meant to be for fun i just had to say it cuz i was watching the movie at the time lol, plus im 13 and had to get it out (having OCD dont help but you know lol thats not the WHOLE problem)

Ha ha ha. Actually, I'm using a cheap digital camera and the microphone is pretty cheap as well. Every video makes it sound like I have a lisp and I don't. I may sound like Gump, but you are trying to learn from a redneck's video…hmmm. LoL.

Home Depot and I got some scrap from work.
vinee94yo @ 5:37 pm
Where did you get the stainless steel plates from?
OldtimerMercedesBenz @ 5:37 pm
Haha, your funny. These cells dont spill out the hydrogen, but it goes in the engine, where it burns with air and out of the exhaust you have -water. So,no damage to ozone!

if you really want to know how to make a HHO fuel cell go to: thegas4free.blogspot,com

yeah and global warming is a scam made by business and goverment so they could milk cash out of eviormentaly friendly people

DO NOT USE SALT WATER FOR electrolysis because,
2NaCl + 2H2O -> Cl2 + H2 + 2NaOH
You would also produce deadly chlorine gas and very corrosive sodium hydroxide.
Not enough chlorine gas to make chemical weapons but enough to hurt you if you have the doors and windows shut.
Hydrogen gas is also not good for the ozone layer because, H2 + O3 -> H2O + O2. Hydrogen will react with ozone to create water and regular oxygen.
There is no free energy here, just simple high school chemistry.
waterwart @ 5:37 pm
I think red devil lye is the best to use for an electrolite.
waterwart @ 5:37 pm
where did you learn to talk? 'Wasn't america was it?
RaOpNa777 @ 5:37 pm
i´m making one that use salt water but there are several problems like:
-how to separated the mixed chemicals (if you use salt think that the electrolysis not only produce hydrogen and oxygen it too produce sodium, cloro, etc)
-the cost of the ingredients and the electricity
r8media @ 5:37 pm
always listen beyond the Gump… one day he may save your life..
..my main point, tho' is does this whole thing work with salt water? as the next worse thing to do would be industrial scale consumption of drinking water for driving cars and all that…
pencilman222000 @ 5:37 pm
LOL you sound like forrest gump
TEMPESTSPARK @ 5:37 pm
does using an electrolite like baking soda produce Co2? ..
sniper02578 @ 5:37 pm
this is not a fuelcell a fuelcell make power out of hydrogen this thing only make hydrogen.
but nice work
thumper88888 @ 5:37 pm
no, it generates hydrogen.
a fuel cell combines H and O and generates electricity. Exactly the opposite.

One other thing…I'm not a big gov. conspiracy theorist, BUT every politician is owned by some industry whether it be big oil, big finanacial institutions, insurance, medical industries, etc. If big oil didn't want it to go through, they pay lobbyists to pay off and buy the votes of congressmen. It happens everyday and to deny such is to be ignorant of the system. Something to think about…
GetReal17 @ 5:37 pm
Maybe not the government, but it wouldn't at all surprise me that big oil may have a hand in keeping it under wraps. Secondly, how many people don't wear their seatbelt, or floss their teeth? Plenty even though there are no good reasons for not doing, some people just don't. Lastly, I told a few people about it and they told me they wouldn't do it because they didn't know how or because they didn't want some contraption under the hood of their car.

THey also didn't do it right. THey didn't have anything like baking soda in there water to act as an electrolite. If they did, they would have gotten alot more bubbles.

Well, I suspect that the plans(blue prints or whatever)they followed didn't call for baking soda if they didn't add it!
99minerkc @ 5:37 pm
Well, I understand what you're saying, but if you're correct in that it works, why aren't a lot more people using HHO?! Plz don't tell me that the government is stopping it from mass production cause I wouldn't buy that statement!

I've watched it. However I personally know 3 people who have done it and have better gotten better MPG's. Bottom line, it's been done and works. Besides I've seen other shows and I wouldn't count the mythbusters as the "end all" of scientific endeavors…

Yes it is the same thing, although getting it on ur car is a little more complicated though
