(Video 44) Simple HHO Gas Filter (HHO, Brown's Gas, Hydroxy)

17

This is a video showing my HHO Gas Filter that is a variation of jdcmusicman's design. It is intended to remove any impurities from the exhausted gas of HHO fuel cells. All of the parts were very inexpensive and can be purchased from just about any home improvement store.

Good to know.

thanks

If you are using KOH or LYE for electrolyte and your fuel cell is connected to a vehicle, it is a necessity.

The vapor that is created from KOH & LYE will break down any aluminum parts that it comes in contact with in your engine.

The filter helps to prevent the harmful vapor from entering your engine, plus it can help to give a cleaner flame if you are using it for a torch.

How important is it to use something like that?!

HHO4ALL @ 10:22 pm #

I'll look forward to the video.

no, did not use bubbler. But now my dry cell not heating anyover 30C. i hope not a steam out. i solved that problem. i made drier in water tank. i used dish washing sponge. no foam will out. i will show you later.

HHO4ALL @ 10:22 pm #

Did you have it after the bubbler?

There should not be moisture after the bubbler unless the water is overheated and you are making steam.

i tested it before. but it restrict when it is wet. also become wet quickly. kkk

I think you are right. after thinking about what you said i most have been getting electrolyte vapor on the pad because it did not take long and the pad was gone. But the water was a nice green color!!

jdcmusicman @ 10:22 pm #

The one I use is 6" long and I have no flow restriction , the key is to not pack it in….I have another that is around 10" x 2" and have little to no flow restriction ..As long as its not packed the flow will be fine ..

ZEROPOINT132 @ 10:22 pm #

Mmmmmm.

cheers

afdhalatifftan92 @ 10:22 pm #

Perfect!!

HHO4ALL @ 10:22 pm #

I'm not sure if making it longer will be any better, because it may restrict the air-flow too much.

I made it small because I didn't want to have problems with back pressure.

You can also make it with 1/4" pieces instead of 1/2".

GoGreenHHOhybrid @ 10:22 pm #

I think I am going to try that!
will making it longer work better???
Thanks HHO4ALL

jdcmusicman @ 10:22 pm #

Hmm I haven't had that happen with mine , Was yours getting any electrolyte vapor on it …..I have been using the same pad for over a yr now ,have never replaced it ..

jdcmusicman @ 10:22 pm #

Yeah man the scrub pad thing is cheap and very effective..I know there are better ways to dry the gas but for the money you cant beat it ….

Looks good man …

HHO4ALL @ 10:22 pm #

I'm sure I could exchange the green pad for something else like a sponge or maybe bronze wool.

rainmaker0909 @ 10:22 pm #

I hope you have better luck than i did. I used the green pad but the hho ate the pad. on the plus side it took over 200 hrs to dissolve it. your design is a little different so you maybe on to something. I look forward to see how it works.
